Residents Hope Another Free Homecoming Program Held Next Year

The free homecoming program held by Jakarta Provincial Government enthused by residents.

Titi Inayati (48), resident of Kalideres, West Jakarta, joined the program with her husband and two children.

Titi admitted she has been joining the program for many times. The program always provides comfort for the passengers.

DPRD Chairman Sends Off Free Homecoming Participants at Monas

"I join the program every year. Thanks to Mr Governor for helping us," she said, at Monas, Thursday (3/27).

She hopes Jakarta Provincial Government remains providing free homecoming program every year.

"Hopefully the program can be held again next year," she hoped.

Moreover, Ngatmi (63) also joined the program with her husband to go to Gunung Kidul, Yogyakarta.

She hoped the program can be held again since it helps them much to reach their hometown.

"Thanks for helping us with this comfort and free trip to our hometown," she stated.

As for information, the free homecoming program is facilitated by Jakarta Transportation Agency to decrease traffic congestion and improve passenger safety.

Jakarta Provincial Government prepares 20 trucks to transport 600 motorcycles; 552 buses with 22,403 seats capacity. Then Regional-Owned Enterprise and Non-Governmental Organization also prepare 31 buses with 1,161 seats capacity.
